Assisting

As a cooperative preschool, parental involvement is an important aspect of our daily class. All parents whose children are enrolled as co-op students will be required to assist at the school. Assist days are dependent upon student enrollment. Generally, parents and guardians can expect to assist about 25% of the time that their child attends school. For example, if a student attends the preschool for three days per week, that parent can expect to assist about three times per month. Parents whose children are enrolled as non co-op students do not have to assist, but will pay the non-co-op tuition rates.

Fundraising

As a non-profit organization, fundraisers are an essential portion of the co-op's operating budget. Current fundraisers include Marcos, Buffalo Wild Wings, Annual Raffle, Adults Bowling Night, and the Annual Fun Run.

Each member is required to fulfill a job for the year. Jobs vary from photography, fundraising, laundry, cleaning and sanitizing toys to shopping, scheduling, and putting together the bulletin board.
